The design of architect A.V. Vlasov was honoured with a grand prize for the layout design of Gorky Park at the International Exhibition in Paris (1937).
A wide variety of roses was gathered in the rosarium from all over the world. Refreshing fountain streams gushed through the centre of the fragrant flowerbed and benches painted in a unique design were arranged, on which to this very day Muscovites and visitors of the capital sit and admire the astonishing beauty of the rosarium.
